Why We Built Precision OT Network
Precision OT Network was born out of personal struggle and professional insight. Shelley, an Occupational Therapist with over a decade of experience, built her career helping people recover from life-altering injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents. Along the way, she grew frustrated by the lack of technology and structure in clinical practice that could help her deliver better care and clearer documentation.
Then came a more personal blow: a concussion of her own, followed by an eight-month recovery that reshaped her understanding of what clients go through.
Together with her husband Adam—now Precision OT Network’s CEO—they committed to building the technology and team needed to modernize OT care and improve outcomes for clients and the professionals who support them.
What began as Brainbot—a mobile concussion recovery assistant—has evolved into a full-service med-legal OT network bringing together leading clinicians, structured methodology, and purpose-built tools to raise the standard for rehab and functional assessments.

Shelley is an award-winning rehab innovator, Occupational Therapist, and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto. She has 12 years of experience treating people living with traumatic brain injuries and extensive training in concussion management and cognitive rehabilitation.

Dr. Charles Tator

Dr. Tator is a Scientist in the Krembil Brain Institute and Director of the Canadian Concussion Centre. He headed Neurosurgery at the Toronto Western Hospital, and was a founder of ThinkFirst, Canada and Parachute Canada. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada, and an inductee of the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame and the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame.
Dr. Carmela Tartaglia

Dr. Tartaglia holds the Marion and Gerald Soloway Chair in Brain Injury and Concussion Research and is one of the Principle Investigators at the Canadian Concussion Centre. She is a Clinician Scientist at Krembil Brain Institute, part of University Health Network (UHN), and the University of Toronto. She maintains a cognitive/behavioural clinic within the UHN Memory Clinic.
